March 19, 2019 - Medical Mission for B’Laan Tribes - Malapatan, Sarangani
One Heart for Hope USA finally visited the B’laan tribes from mountainous area of Malapatan, Sarangani. 200 children and adults were served by Dr. Roel Cajape together with the distribution of slippers, hygiene kits, rice, hot meals, first aid and meds as needed. Thanks to the Philippine Army that brought us through the mountains to reach these families in need of medical care. March 20, 2019 - 2nd Medical Mission for T’boli Tribes - Lake Sebu, So. Cotabato.
One Heart for Hope USA travelled though the mountainous area of So. Cotabato to reach out to the T’boli tribes of Mindanao.. Medical mission was conducted by Dr. Roel Cagape for 200 adults and children in dire need of medical attention. We also distributed slippers, hygiene kits and hot meals. OHFH also pledged to build an all-purpose structure for the T'boli children to be used as their learning center.-

March 18, 2019 - Mindanao Mission 1 -Visit to House of Hope and Cancer Institute
One Heart for Hope visited House of Hope - a transient home for children with cancer. Most of these patients are indigent with lack of access to healthcare, no hope, no place to stay with while undergoing treatment.
Thanks to Fatima-Inderah Disomimba, President of House of Hope Foundation for the warm welcome and hospitality, Quota Intl of Metro Davao/House of Hope Foundation - Maryfe A. Sabino and Roy Cresencio R Linao, Jr. , House of Hope Foundation - Loranie C Cadigal and staff, Ambassador of Hope - Joy V Linao, Quota International of Davao Volunteers - JayAr P. Pamat and Louise Ann L. Flores, thank you for your dedication and commitment to these children. Aside from the beanie baby collections given to each child and hot meals for everyone, OHFH also donated water dispenser, laminating machine for use at the facility and donated PhP 20,000 in exchange for an original signed art displayed at their facility.

Feb. 23, 2019- Giving Back - Children of Alhambra Street, Quezon City
OHFH Board Member - Glenda Bule and Mr. Jho Bule spearheaded a gift giving that brought smiles and laughters to faces of 150 underprivileged children of Alhambra Street, Quezon City. They all received set of school supplies, school bags, health kits, raincoats & lunch packs after a fun-filled parlor games with cash prizes was held. Thank you to all the donors who generously helped to make these gift-giving a success, to OHFH Philippines and its Ambassadors of Hope for all your hardwork in getting all the giveaways ready and packed for quick distribution and the Bule family for your continuing support to OHFH!
March 24, 2019 - Giving Back with Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc. - APFI.
One Heart for Hope joined Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc. to meet APFI scholars in Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City. After brief introductions, words of encouragement and physical wellness/hygiene education, students received snacks, hygiene kits and lunch. OHFH also pledged to donate to their K-12 Scholarship Program. Thank you to Arnel and Cherry Pineda, Laiza Brazal, Rosie Pena and Miles Casala for introducing us to your scholars. A very special day to remember.
Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc. (APFI) is a non-stock, non-profit, and independent Philippine foundation that provides underprivileged children quality education, health services and medical attention. Arnel mobilizes his team to join the battle against poverty and its ensuing havoc on Philippine youth. His ongoing tenure as frontman of the American rock band Journey has allowed many individuals with shared goals to know him and join in helping children rise above their circumstances.
April 3, 2019 - Friends from the Bay Area Giving Back in Tiwi, Albay
Tiwi, Albay was one of the hardest hit areas that triggered landslides, flooding, drownings and loss of homes from series of heavy rains brought by tropical depression Usman. Over 90,000 people were affected by the flooding.
Through the generosity of our donors, OHFH was able to provide the necessities still needed by these students that were hit badly by the massive flooding and landslides. School supplies, hygiene kits, sling bags, and snacks were given to 246 school children K-6 Grade of Bariis Elementary School, Tiwi, Albay.

June 5, 2019- OHFH Tutorial Celebrates Graduation Day for 40 Pre-Schoolers
40 students received their certificates for completing the tutorial experience, ribbons as recognition for their excellence. They were also given complete school supplies and health kits for the elementary school opening. Huge thanks to One Heart for Hope Philippines, its Ambassadors of Hope, and the teachers - Jenny Merin-Escoto and Rowena Lazatin-Ormita and the asst, teachers, San Juan Dela Cruz Parish church for letting us use their facilities and partnering with us to uplift the lives of many unprivileged children through education. Congratulations on your first journey to success!
OHFH Tutorial Center provides a fun learning environment for 40 at-risk with zero knowledge children from low-income families. These children will develop the academic skills, self-discipline and confidence to excel as they enter elementary education. With three (3) highly qualified teachers, the program also includes free snacks or lunch, backpacks, uniforms, hygiene packs and all the school supplies. One Heart for Hope has been running this program successfully for the last 8 years.
July 30, 2019 - OHFH Extends its Mission to Build a Day Care Learning Center for T’Boli Children in So. Cotabato
OHFH built a day care center and learning center for T'Boli children in the remote and mountainous region of So. Cotabato. It will provide them with a strong foundation in education process towards their development maturity independence and higher learning skills; to enhance their educational and cultural heritage such as their dances, songs, folk tales, riddles and etc. and provide them a safe environment where they can continually learn before or after school. Estimated completion date is mid-July 2019. The project is headed by Anita Castillon, William Sy (donor), Noel Galang, with the help of T'Boli parents and tribal council of Barangay T’kunel. To ensure that the classroom will the maintained and utilized effectively for the most member of school children, the Indigenous Learning School (ILS) will partner with relevant grant agencies particularly the Dept of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
May 17, 2019 - Giving Back to Aeta Commnunites After Devastating Earthquake
One Heart For Hope visited the impoverished relocation area of Aeta community affected by the recent earthquake that destroyed their home and displaced many. The government placed them here because the area they used to settle has deep cracks and unstable grounds. These people now live in shanties with only only promotional tarps as their roofs and walls. Children are living in less than ideal situation with health concerns are affected. Water and food are scarce. OHFH brought rice and food for these people. We also brought pre-loved clothes, blankets, towel, and mats where they can sleep. Hygiene kit were also distributed. The summer heat was unbearable and dust suffocating. And yet, everybody was happy and in high spirits. All in all, 125 families were served. Thanks to Janie Buelow and her Elev8 Lagree Fitness Group and QI Pampanga, DhuDu B. Soto for their support and assistance. This is just one of the relocation area among the many.
September 23, 2019 - Himokilan Island Back To School Birthday Outreach
Himokilan, a small island in Hindang, Leyte was one of the beneficiaries of OHFH Outreach Director, Noel Galang for this birthday giving this year. School and hygiene supplies, instructional supplies and solar lights were given to children and their families in time for the start of the school year.
October 2, 2019 - Apid Island Back To School Birthday Outreach
Apid is part of the Cuatros Islas of the Hindang and Inopacan town in Leyte. These islands are part of protected landscapes and seascapes of the Philippines and are being manned by DENR personnel. Most families are poor fisher folks and most are unable to purchase school supplies for their kids. Whatever they earn from fishing goes straight to the table.
October 3, 2019 - Fishing Boats for the Seaweed Farmers of Biri, Samar
We promised we will be back… and we did! On our second visit to Biri,Northern Samar, we once again gave fisherfolk families the gift of fishing boats (baroto) for livelihood. The beneficiaries were seaweed farmers who were overjoyed with these gifts. The distribution day was very festive with food served. The people of Biri are very grateful to the team. These paddle boats are very ideal for seaweed farming.
December 14, 2019 - Day Care and Learning Center Opening for T’Boli Children
Sitio Tuko Bulul in Brgy. Takunel, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato has so much to be grateful for. One Heart for Hope, along with donors, attended the day care inauguration with gifts, food, blessings, and festive program.
